The SOAR FOR VETERANS cycling event will celebrate our nation’s veterans and raise funds to support the Mid-Shore Recovering Veterans Group (MSRVG). The event has been cancelled for the year 2019 and is scheduled for June 6, 2020.
Please join us in support of our Eastern Shore veterans. By providing wheelchairs, handicap ramps and transportation, to also engaging veterans in positive extracurricular activities, MSVRG is a lifeline for veterans needing support that traditional funding sources can’t provide. 100% of dollars raised by MSVRG go directly to support veterans through the Mid-Shore Community Foundation.
SOAR FOR VETERANS is a fully supported cycling event with your safety and fun in mind. Riders can expect well marked routes, easy to follow cue sheets, SAG support, with great post ride food and beverages after their ride.
Pedaling through Talbot County is a joy, passing beautiful estate properties and farms, crossing the Miles and Tuckahoe Rivers, passing historical landmarks and traveling through historic communities.
SOAR for Veterans Fund is a component fund of the Mid-Shore Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization - donations to which are tax deductible to the fullest extent by law.
